Bodum is NOK

Online product bought. No delivery after a month. Since two weeks trying to reach Support (no reaction on phone, no reaction on multiple mails). I have now contacted my creditcard organisation. I want my money back.

Bodum products look good but work…

Bodum products look good but work poorly. More importantly, the company does not stand by its products. As an experienced customer, having had 5 different kitchen gadgets (mostly received as wedding gifts), I can attest that they all have problems. They knowingly use materials that do not hold up, becoming sticky, gooey, and disgusting to even hold. Functionally speaking, they all work, but the hand mixer settings are all too fast, and the milk warmer/frother burns the milk on the bottom, making it difficult to clean, and the rest of the items had issues with the material. I would not recommend Bodum to anyone and will never buy from them again.

I did contact them about the issues and they replied 2 months later acknowledging that other customers have had issues with the material, but they had no useful advice and were unwilling to replace them.

Bad product. Bad customer service. Be warned!

Wow! I wish I'd referred to Trustpilot before buying Bodum kettles.
1. Bought a nice looking bodum gooseneck kettle. It looked very stylish but failed after just over a year. Oh well, my bad luck.
2. Bought another one (wife really liked it) but that failed (leaking electric kettle!) after 9 months. Contacted bodum: they didn't give a s###. Contacted Amazon: at first they didn't give a s### until I raised sale of goods act etc then they gave me a refund "good customer etc".
3. The moral of this a) don't buy Bodum stuff, it's rubbish, and their customer service is rubbish. b) read Trustpilot reviews before buying! There are loads on here saying how bad Bodum is - why didn't I check!?

I ordered products that never arrived and customer service doesn't respond. I tried emails, facebook messages and calling. Starting to feel scammed.

Terrible customer service

I purchased several products from Bodum official online store but I want to return two products that had not the expected quality. I contacted the company by their email service "support at bodum.zendesk.com" 12 days ago. Nothing back from the support, I tried to contact by the support link and I received an automatic email:
"Your request (326058) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff." Guess what, nothing yet after 12 days. Today I tried to call the phone +4549148000 and no answer at all. It is the worst customer service I ever seem. How a company of this magnitude could not care about us at all?

No support for mugs with manufacturing defects…

Bought mugs with manufacturing defects that mean they are really leaky. Contacted customer service and they keep quoting to me that the mugs are not 100% leak proof from the mug advert. Really bad customer after care. Avoid.

I cannot rate this company low enough

I cannot rate this company low enough; please don’t read my review unless you have plenty of time on your hands as the consistently awful service I have received will take some time to document…

Ordered a Burr grinder, arrived promptly (so as I can’t give no stars, I suppose the one I had to give can be used for this part), but after about three weeks it stopped working. I emailed Bodum, a week later they asked me to send a video which I did, a week later they replied with four steps I could take that might solve the problem; the steps I was advised to follow were the steps I had been taking when I used the machine and it was clear in the video that I had followed said steps. Emailed back to say that was how I was using the machine and it did not work. A week later (and numerous ‘rate our service’ emails between, mildly amusing by this point) and I received the same set of instructions on how to use the grinder, replied asking for a refund, no reply. Escalated to PayPal, then Bodum did reply saying they only accept unused products as a return however would ‘exceptionally’ accept the return (at my expense). £9 later, I thought I was getting somewhere but, alas, no… posted back one month after the start of the whole debacle, a week later I emailed to ask about my refund and heard nothing until today, a whole three weeks after my last email and four weeks since posting, only to be told they haven’t received it… I’ve checked with Royal Mail and it was delivered (and signed for) 3.5 weeks ago. I have emailed Bodum advising of this, but am really not holding my breath for a reply.

I have never, in my life, experienced such awful service; I will never buy from Bodum again.

Avoid Bodum! Terrible after sales support

Purchased a Bistro coffee grinder direct from Bodum. Straight away it didn't sound like it was working, after a few weeks it stopped grinding completely. After contacting their very poor customer service dept, they eventually responded with a request to send a video of the issue, which I did. Since them radio silence for over a week. Eventually I ran out of patients and placed a refund order with Paypal. I'll wait to see what happens then.

I would suggest you find another brand as Bodum will not support you if it goes wrong
